| There are 40 days until the 1st annual SpringHill Music Festival and holy cow there's a lot to do. Summer is ending soon for us, so that people will have a little more time to invest in this endeavor. So here's my plan: In order to celebrate this 40 days, I'm going to blog or "journal" (thanks, Dan) my journey. Day 41 almost 40: At 11:15 I receive a call from my pastor. I'm one of .... one people that he can call back later and not feel guilty about it. We chat (There was a trade made at church today for the worship band at SpringHill - so I just wanted to check that he was good with what he got at church) and I mention that there are 40 days left until the festival. What does he say? "Wow, 40 days has a lot of significance in the Bible. Usually a tribulation followed by celebration." Thanks, Dan. So of course, what do I do? Look it up: The word for is mentioned 96 times . . . that's not what I was expecting. Jacob had 40 Days of mourning

All that to say? I'm cool with tribulation As long as there is celebration. 2 days of 30 bands... I can handle that as a celebration! So here's the latest on The SpringHill Music Festival:
THE ELMS just signed for Saturday Night. They'll play at 10:30 right after Run Kid Run!! There are just a few slots left open, we're trying to make good decisions about who gets to come to this first annual event...
